I love this place! Owner Steve is really nice as well as staff. If they see me searching for something, they always ask if they could help. A hidden gem on the UES, I immediately inform all who relocate here about this lovely place.

This place is pretty incredible. Looking for an obscure shaving cream? Great, they probably have 500 different ones in various sized containers. Want that cosmetic you're not sure they make anymore? It's likely they have a small army-sized stockpile. This place has been optimized for one thing; as many items as they can possibly fit into the store. The aisles are narrow, the shelves are sky-high, and the feeling that you're in a cool spot that could only exist in NYC is there.

Shaving paradise. Nearly every conceivable brand of razor, blades, shaving cream, shaving soaps, aftershaves--including some fairly obscure brands that are superb but hard to find--they're here under one roof and reasonably priced. The owner is a great guy, the staff is polite. It can be a bit trying if you call them to ask about something specific that's slightly off the radar--sometimes you get a person who's struggling with English and might not understand what you're asking for. But go in, you'll find it. Both locations are equally superb. And the pharmacy staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable. This is the kind of small business that once upon a time made New York a fabulous singular city.

The shop is iconic—at least for classic shaving enthusiasts. You'll find everything related to this hobby: creams, soaps, brushes, and more. Especially noteworthy are the products from A&E as well as The Art of Shaving. Of course, a special mention goes to Spanish artisan soap makers like Joserra and Xavieiro, who also have their space in the store. It’s the kind of place where you can easily "get lost" for an hour while browsing their extensive product catalog. The customer service wasn’t the friendliest (maybe the girl was just having a bad day?), but that’s a minor detail. What mattered to me was visiting a place I’d been really excited about as a true “afeitader"

Always a pleasure to visit this amazing pharmacy! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There’s a huge variety of products, particularly wet shaving items. It has more choices than anywhere else in the city. Outstanding products. Excellent service.
